Corn Processing Equipment Sieve Mesh Selection

In corn processing equipment technology, screening equipment has the function of removing impurities. How much do you know about screening equipment and its SIEVE MESH selection? Sieve mesh selection mainly depends on the specific screen underflow size and can be adjusted according to the material flow and screening requirement.
 

Corn processing equipment cleaning technology is applied to remove the big impurities with the sieve pit diameter Φ6mm. If the overtails cover the screen surface 1/2 above, then we should change it to the screen with bigger sieve mesh. Usually the unprocessed grain cleaning can adopt the screen with sieve mesh Φ8mm.

 

In the whole corn processing equipment working process, we should adjust the sieve pit according to the raw material. When the small impurities content is too high or the granularity is too large, we can enlarge the sieve mesh. For example, we change the sieve mesh Φ8mm to Φ2.5mm. The sieve mesh for removing small impurities usually cannot be ≥Φ3mm, or the small granules quantity will increase.
