Corn Cleaning Equipment and Technological Process

Corn cleaning technology is quite similar with wheat cleaning. Due to the big corn granularity, it is much easier to clean the small impurities in corn compared with wheat cleaning. But corn cleaning equipment models are not too many and the cleaning process is simple.
 

Corn cleaning and tempering equipment:
1. Corn screening equipment
Corn screening equipment is the main equipment in CORN CLEANING. The common corn screening equipments are vibrating screen and flat rotary sieve. Screening equipment usually adopts two layers of sifter, of which the first layer adopts 3W metal woven screen or 15-17mm punching sifter to remove the big impurities in the corn and the second layer adopts 7W-8W screen or 2-2.2mm sieve pit to remove the small impurities.

2. Corn destoner machine
Corn destoner machine has many types and suction type of destoner is the main equipment. Corn has big granularity, flat kernels shape and high suspension speed, therefore, the screen amplitude and the air suction quantity is always very large when we process corn.

3. Magnetic separation equipment
Magnetic separation equipment usually selects tublar magnet and magnet column to clean the magnetic metal impurities.

4. Corn winnowing equipment
Corn has high suspension speed, so it is more effective to adopt suction type winnowing equipment to separate light impurities. Usually the vertical air duct or recycling air flow winnowing equipment coordinate with the screening equipment to remove the light impurities.

5. Moisture adjustment equipment
Moisture adjustment equipment includes dampener and the conditioning bin.
